We are all energetic beings. Each one of us is made of energy. Everything around us is made of energy. Therefore, it makes sense that we can take energy in and give energy out.
The SCIO is an energetic health technology. It is able to detect energetic stress in the body and also give the body a healthy energetic signal back to the body.
The SCIO is very relaxing and many times clients will fall asleep in the chair. This is a very clear indicator that the SCIO is doing it’s job - relaxing the body so it can heal itself.
We all have a nervous system, including animals. The nervous system is made of three components – the sympathetic system, the parasympathetic system and the enteric. We will be concerning ourselves with only two, the sympathetic and parasympathetic.
The sympathetic system is the part of the body that regulates the flight or fight response. It also dilates your pupils, increases sweating, increases the heart rate and blood pressure. You are ready for anything!
The parasympathetic system is known as the rest and digest system. It will conserve energy, slow the heart rate, lower blood pressure, increase intestinal and gland activity, and relaxes sphincter muscles in the gastrointestinal tract. In this state the body finds it easy to heal.
The SCIO helps to relax the sympathetic system so the parasympathetic system can take over-- relaxed and able to repair any damage in the body. When we are so wound up, our body isn’t able to concern itself about healing. It is ready to take action! To defend itself at all costs! If in this state for an extended period of time that cost is your health.
Many things can lead to the dominant sympathetic system. Day to day stress, our jobs, money, poor diet, no exercise, lack of sleep to name a few. Stress is anything that causes the body to not be able to function at its optimal peak health.
Over time, like anything, it wears the body down and you will eventually develop stressors. Your body is weakened and not able to fight anymore. When this occurs the body becomes overwhelmed, sick and diseased. The SCIO is able to detect and reduce those stressors in the body. It trains the body to relax, re-educates the muscles, and reduces the stress based on your unique reactions.
Over the years I have tried several different healing modalities and have walked away with a pleasant experience however nothing that made me want to pursue it again. With the exception of one modality which I will talk about later.
About 10 years ago I got very ill and saw several doctors that didn’t or wouldn’t help me. I was left to pursue a healing on my own. I started doing research and getting educated about what was going on with me. With that knowledge I started taking a supplement which got discontinued after a few months, so then I had to move onto the next idea. More research, more ideas. This went on for quite a few months and I eventually ended up at an iridologist who, after one visit, left the country for 3 months! I was completely frustrated and scared. Where was I going to get help from next?
My neighbor told me about the lady that has this machine that was able to detect what was going on in the body. I was skeptical but at that point I had nothing to lose so I went to see her. After the first visit and having passed a parasite nest a couple of days later, I was sold. I continued on with sessions every 2 weeks and after 3 months changed to once a month. After 6 months and 9 visits, I felt better than I had felt in a long time. That was my introduction to biofeedback and the SCIO.
A couple of months later one of my cats had eaten some of that recalled pet food with melamine in it. He was starting to show symptoms of kidney damage. I had taken him to 3 different vets and spent $600 to be told by each one that the symptoms were vague. None of them would consider the physical symptoms and only wanted to go by the test results. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I gave him some of my left over homeopathics for the kidneys and saw a change in him the next day! I was amazed and continued to give him the homeopathic. I started thinking about what I could do with the SCIO system and the changes I could help facilitate in my cat. Six months later I had the money land in my lap and the first thing I did was order a system. That was 5 years ago and he has completely healed himself and now I only do maintenance on him.
My youngest cat would occasionally get lame in his back legs. He wouldn’t be able to walk and would just fall over. After half an hour on the SCIO he would be up and running around again.
A client had a cat that had a urinary tract blockage removed by the veterinarian however, he still wasn’t able to eliminate properly a week later. One session and he was back to his former litter box usage. Sometimes all it takes is a little nudge.
I have a stray cat that has taken up residence on my property for the last 4 years and one day he came home all beat up and barely able to walk after having been missing for a week. I did a session on him and all of his open wounds were healing over in 24 hours.
I had cut my finger open with an Exacto blade and it went deep. I really should have gone for stitches but after the change I saw in the stray cat I decided to try it on myself. I wrapped a smaller pad around my finger and worked on wounds in every panel I could find. Twenty four hours later the cut was almost closed. After several sessions I don’t even have a scar.
Now in no way do I advocate not going to the doctor when something serious has occurred. Doctors are there for a reason. Same goes for pets and the veterinarian.
After 5 years the system still amazes me on how it can help our body heal itself. Our self-healing abilities are incredible and sometimes all they need is a nudge to get the body to start the process. I love being able to pass on the energy to others so they too can heal themselves.
Finally the doctors and nurses started talking about letting me go home on Day 15, Oct 30th. But first I would have to do a kitchen test. Down to a test kitchen (who knew they had one lol) and I was told I would have to make an omelet. I told them that I couldn’t ever make one at home, what makes them think I can make one now! Lol They settled for scrambled eggs lol Apparently I pulled off the test with flying colors and back to my room I went. Only this time it was to grab my wallet and go back down to the cafeteria and grab myself a hamburger! Off I went and got back onto the elevator with my prized hamburger -- only to see the gentleman who supervised my kitchen test lol He smiled and asked me if I worked up an appetite lol
I was also signed up for an MRI before I was to leave. The evening of the 29th I was wheeled down to the basement for the test. Honestly I understand their significance, however, I really don’t want another one any time soon. I am not a confined space person in any way. Eyes tightly shut repeating “I will be ok”, “I will be ok”, hand clenching the button they gave me in case I need to get out quickly.
Next morning Day 15, October 30 I got the word I could go home!! Never had I heard sweeter words than that. I was told that I was going to feel so exhausted, that I would have headaches for at least 3 months up to a year and that my concentration would be low and only able to work 2 hours at a time. I thought to myself, “ya we’ll see”, and no heavy lifting for a while.
Because my truck was still in another city, a friend got my truck, drove it to Calgary and then brought me home. I was so happy to see my truck and gave it a kiss lol I held my breath until we were out of the parking lot, I was afraid they were going to change their minds and make me stay longer.
The two days after were spent getting groceries for at least a month just in case I wasn’t able to drive. Then rest for the next week. I would nap at the drop of a hat. Four days after I got home I did a biofeedback session on myself. My head hadn’t been feeling clear at all. After the session I slept on and off for 24 hours and woke up around 4 p.m. the next day. Wow! What a difference! My head felt clear and normal! I did 3 sessions the first week home. The second week 2 sessions and after that back to once a week.
On the 9th day home I wanted to do a test drive around the block. It went fine until I got back to the house, stopped the truck and opened the door. Everything was still moving! Lol After that I did a small drive every day for 4 days and everything was fine.
Fifteen days home I did my first drive on the highway into the city. It was all great. I would get dizzy when I got tired so as soon as that happened I went back home and rested. Each day was better and better.
December 19th I had my 8 week checkup with the doctor back in Calgary. I was given the clearance to go back to normal – I had a full recovery. I have had no headaches and the extreme exhaustion only lasted about 2 weeks. I told that one third of all subarachnoid hemorrhages end in death, one third have some brain damage and one third, like me, have no damage whatsoever. However. . . . . there was another, much smaller aneurysm found, 2 mm in size. They wanted to keep an eye on it because I already have history, another MRI in 6 months and was told I would have to have MRI’s up to 5 years from now.
I am now making plans to do the things I’ve always wanted to do. I do not want to miss out on anything. For the way I’ve lived my life, this event was the one thing that I had no control over. I was most likely born with the aneurysm. My diet, drinking or anything I’ve done in the past had nothing to do with it. It made me realize that it can all be taken away in a snap of the fingers and there’s nothing we can to do avoid it. I have always known that but when you get slapped in the face with it, it really hits home. I have always been grateful for everything in my life, this event however, has amplified that gratitude.
I am certain that the biofeedback before and after, the Quantum Touch session and Cranio Sacral massage all had a major impact on my recovery from such an event. I am so grateful. I believe that all modalities of health care, including western medicine can all work together to create a whole and healthy body, mind and spirit. A friend told me that she believes that we are all given chances to leave this world and it’s up to us to take it or not. Apparently I chose to stay on and finish what I was sent here to do.
